False Flags
A false flag is a political or military action carried out with the intention of blaming an opponent for it.
Somehow I think that false flags will become the order of the day in the fight for justice. The false flags will take the form of disinformation or planted stories. Once these prove to be untrue, the credibility of all stories will be undermined. As will the credibility of the media houses who would have published well documented, well substantiated, well verified stories. As Churchill said, “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
For example – I could be wrong about this – but I do find it rather strange that a story in an obscure Pakistani news outlet garnered more of a reaction from the government than the recent, well researched, and documented investigations by The Shift News in partnership with The Times and The Sunday Times and Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.
The enemies of justice are devious and ruthless. They will do anything to prevent justice from catching up with them. They have resources. They have contacts. They play dirty.
I am expecting a surge in disinformation. Be careful who you trust.
