Honesty and Integrity

A mentor of mine used to tell me that integrity is like virginity. You either have it or you don’t.

An honest person, a person of integrity, has nothing to hide about his/her source/s of wealth. An honest politician should be keen to reveal his/her source/s of wealth to ensure that there is no doubt about his/her honesty and integrity.

When a politician opposes a law that would allow the authorities to dig deeper into his/her wealth and its source/s, once can only conclude one thing: Lack of honesty and integrity.

Yet the Police Commissioner rests soundly in the arms of Morpheus.
