Pardon please

It’s come to the staggering point where past crimes have become valuable assets to be traded.

We are speaking of murderers, assassins, contract killers. People who snuff out a human life without batting an eye. After which they go for tea…

Allowing their crimes to go unpunished is to make a travesty of justice and to endanger society. Such people should not be roaming around freely. They should not be roaming around at all. They should be behind bars. For good.

Allowing a killer to go scot-free, or nearly scot free in exchange for information is a dangerous precedent. It is not in the interest of justice. It is not in the interest of the safety of the community. It is not in the interest of the common good.

Giving presidential pardons to assassins merely encourages impunity. It lets assassins get away with murder. Literally. Do we really want that?
